The name badge design was created for a genomic medicine research institute symposium held at the Bonaventure Hotel in Montreal, Canada. With over 200 attendees, the symposium hosted speakers from the institute’s research investigators and visiting scientists–namely Oxford University, Oxford Nanopore Technologies, Cambridge University, Imperial College London, RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences, University of Tokyo, Dalhousie University, Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine, Alphanosos, PacBio, and Illumina. The design includes a gene sequencing wave pattern to encompass the common thread of all attendees: its commitment to advancing genomic medicine.
